Adobe Spark has become one of my favorite tools to use. I used it to teach my students about cultural holidays. I chose to use the Day of the Dead, because it is one of the most known Latin American holidays and this way they have to conduct their own research for different topics, that do not include the example model. The objective is for them to have a model of what the final project should look like and the information they need to incorporate in the video in a short amount of time. Adobe Spark is very useful because you have to shrink your information to give the most important aspects of the presentation, and you can do it in a fun whimsical way. One way that I can use this tool with my students is for them to select a holiday from a country that we do not celebrate in the United States and provide as much information as possible with a limited amount of time. This will help with their critical thinking skills, and creativity because they will have free range on what they should include. Another way that I can use this with my students is to create a famous person presentation and provide important aspects of their lives through images and music. I find interesting that at the end you have a page for copyright recognition and for them to cite their research. I would want them to understand that just because images are on the web does not mean these images belong to everyone and that can be used without recognizing the artist for whom they belong. This project will help my student practice with the target language in a creative way, and also will remove any concern they may have about being on camera or in person presentations. This will give them the freedom to express themselves creatively.
The second video, I created for my students as an example. With this in mind, they are to do some research on non-profit organizations in the U.S. that work in tandem with Latin American non-profits. The video below shows a nonprofit we do in my school through our club the Spanish Society. We are now helping this non-profit earn money to aid these communities. Enjoy.

Add Ons and Extensions
I chose two add ins from Microsoft 365 and one add on from Google Docs. I believe this would help with your students collaborate, communicate and create. The first add in I explored was the QR code converter for Microsoft 365 QR4Office. I find myself often trying to send links to my students via remind that sometimes do not work, or I send it to the wrong class. With this, you can embed a code for with your presentation and the students can scan it and go directly to the add in of the presentation. The second add in I explored was WebViewer. With this add in you can embed a website directly into your presentation as a slide and work with the website as you normally would. The third was an add on Google drive Adobe Stock to live up your presentations with real pictures. For the extensions I selected Select and Speak that allows you to read a page in any language and it is not a computerized speech. Another add on was Google View Image, these images can be downloaded to your computer.
